PA-01 Arch Lamp
Designed by Edouard Sankowski.
Part of a larger exploration of Edouard's in the Arch series, PA-01 was developed with a notion of recreating a familiar yet uncapturable feeling. The piece is mostly interpretation of an arched French or Italian porte-cochère (a coach-gateway).
The piece recreates the alluring Parisian nights ambiance and the light emanating from the chandeliers hanging in the passages it is meant to idealize. Just as the portes-cochères, the light shows enough, but also leaves enough of the surrounding to the imagination.
Each piece in the series presents unique traits due to the nature of the materials employed and the work expressed upon them, varying from piece to piece imperceptibly. Items will differ from the image.
Method individually handmade in France by Krzywda.
